Haryana CM Bhupinder Singh Hooda accepts Defeat

Chandigarh, Oct 19: Haryana chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda accepted his defeat following the Congress rout in the assembly polls on Sunday. Respecting the public mandate to the BJP, he extended his wishes to the new government to be formed expecting it will work for people at the same pace in the state.

"I extend my wishes to the new govt to be formed, hope they will work for people at the same pace", Hooda said. I am grateful to Sonia Ji and people of Haryana for giving me a chance to serve for 10 years", he added.

As per the latest trends, BJP has won 9 seats so far leading in 42 seats, while Congress won 3, 16 (leads), INLD: 3 (w) 16 (lead). The results for 16 seats have been declared so far out of 90.
