Congress dares Arun Jaitley on Black Money Issue

New Delhi, Oct 22: A day after Finance Minister Arun Jaitley went on offensive against Congress on black money issue, the opposition strongly reacted to his remarks that the revelation of names in black money case will embarrass the party.

Reacting sharply to the statement of Jaitley, Congress spokesperson Ajay Maken dared the BJP government to come out with names. "Don't blackmail the Congress. We will not succumb to any pressure," he said strongly.

In an interview on Tuesday, Jaitley had said that Centre was not reluctant to reveal the names of people who have allegedly stashed black money in foreign bank accounts, rather the Congress will be embarrassed by the names when the government will reveal them in the court.

Defending Congress, Maken accused the Modi government of politicising the black money row. He said that the government was selective in revealing the names. "Why only 136 names? We want them to release all the 800 names. Congress is above any individual but all names should come out," he said.
