Modile App on Android for Tourists launched

New Delhi, Oct 27: In an attempt to boost tourism in India, the government on Monday launched a mobile application for tourists that will provide various information related to travel.

Through the mobile app, which will be available for Android phones, the tourists could get travel related information including availability and charges of hotels, air fares, and local attractions of any particular place in the country.

Instead of using different apps, a tourist can easily get data about travel related things using only one app, said Union Tourism Ministry Secretary Parvez Dewan at the launch of Mobile Application for tourists in New Delhi.
