Website for Pradhan Mantri Jan-Dhan Yojana launched

New Delhi, Oct 28: The Centre launched a website for Pradhan Mantri Jan-Dhan Yojana (PMJDY), a scheme launched by prime minister Narendra Modi under which every household would have a bank account and an insurance cover. The site will be available both in English and Hindi.

The website, www.pmjdy.gov.in was launched by secretary of Department of Financial Services, G S Sandhu.

The website contains information on administrative structure with contact details of mission directors and nodal officers. The visitors will also get the information about latest events and circulars issued under the scheme.
