Six More DIETs to be set up in Odisha

Bhubaneswar, Oct 31: Odisha government has decided to set up six more District Institutes of Education and Training (DIETs) in Boudh, Deogarh, Malkangiri, Nuapada, Sonepur, Jharsuguda districts, said School and Mass Education Department.

With the six more teachers training centres, the total DIETs in the state will be 30. Earlier, the proposal was approved by the state Finance Department. With the establishment of six more DIETs more than 3000 teachers will be trained every year.
