Prez Pranab Mukherjee to visit Odisha on Nov 29

Bhubaneswar, Oct 31: President Pranab Mukherjee will visit Odisha on November 29. During his two-day visit, Mr. President will have tight schedules to make his presence at many functions in the state.

The Rashtrapati Bhawan has formally informed the Odisha government about President visit beginning on November 29.

As per the schedule, he would inaugurate the golden jubilee celebration of Utkal Sangeet Mahavidyalaya at 5.45 PM after arriving  at Biju Patnaik International Airport in Bhubaneswar at 5.35 PM on November 29 by a special flight from Varanasi. After one hour he would leave at 7 pm for Raj Bhawan, where he will spend the night.

Mr President would leave Bhubaneswar at 10.20 AM on Nov 30 for Kalahandi district via Raipur to inaugurate a newly constructed Vivekananda Memorial Hall inside the local Ramakrushna Ashram at 12.40 PM.

Later, he would leave for Madanpur near Khordha where he would inaugurate the new campus of Utkal University of Culture between 4 PM and 5 PM. After attending the programme there, he would visit Ramadevi Women College to inaugurate the golden jubilee celebration at 5.55 PM. He would leave for Delhi at 7.25 PM.
