IS leader Baghdadi "Not Dead", confirms US

New York, Nov 14: The head of the Islamic State (IS) Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi has survived in the recent US led coalition airstrikes that prompted rumours about his death, said two US officials.

Days after reports of the leader being dead or injured were circulated, a video was released by IS wherein Baghdadi said that they would not stop the battle even if one fighter remained.

According to Fox News, Baghdadi's first comments came after the US led coalition airstrikes, in the recently released audio.

Reports say that Baghdadi survived as per the audio records.

Baghdadi's voice also seemed to correspond with earlier recordings.
