Hudhud: Central team visit today

Bhubaneswar, Nov 18: Responding to state government's memorandum, the Centre has decided to send an eight-member official team to assess the damage caused by cyclone Hudhud.

The team headed by G K Dwivedi, joint secretary (foreigners) in the home ministry, is scheduled to arrive here on Tuesday and tour four districts, Koraput, Malkangiri, Gajapati, Rayagada, for two days in two groups. A team will hold talks with the chief secretary on Wednesday, an official release issued from the office of special relief commissioner (SRC) here said.
