Bhubaneswar, Nov 22: In another big development in an ongoing investigation into the multi-crore chit fund scam in Odisha, Naveen Nivas, the residence of chief minister Naveen Patnaik, finally came under CBI scanner as one of its staff appeared before the CBI on Saturday for interrogation.
Saroj Sahu, a close aide of Naveen Patnaik, reached the CBI office here today after receiving a summon from the central agency.
Sahu is the coordinator of the programmes of the CM. He is also the political secretary of the BJD. He was summoned for the interrogation to unearth the possible political links with the Seashore Group.
Earlier in the day, RK Nanda, a marketing manager of Seashore Group, was grilled by the agency. He used to manage the events and advertising business of the company.
