Hearing on Bail Plea of Pravat Tripathy deferred to Dec 2

Bhubaneswar, Nov 27: The Khordha district and sessions court on Thursday deferred the hearing on bail plea of suspended BJD MLA from Banki Pravat Tripathy to December 2.

Tripathy, who was arrested by CBI for his alleged links with the Artha Tatwa (AT) Group, his bail application was deferred after the central probe team sought more time to produce documents before the court.

The Banki MLA would have to be behind the bars for some more days as the CBI seems to be in no mood to leave anyone allegedly involved in the multi-crore scam in the state.
