Hearing on Bail Plea of Pradeep Sethy on Dec 4

Bhubaneswar, Nov 27: The Khurda district and sessions court on Thursday reserved its verdict on the bail petition of Pradeep Sethy, CMD of AT Group, a key player in the chit fund scam in Odisha. The next hearing on his plea will take place on December 4.

Along with Sethy, the court deferred the bail plea of Deepak Parekh, who was arrested by CBI for his links with the AT Group, till December 4.

Meanwhile, the special CBI court has deferred the hearing of bail application of Prashant Dash, the head of Seashore Group, till December 10, after the CBI told the court that the documents, which will be produced before the court, were not ready.

It can be noted that Sethy could reveal more people involved in the multi-crore scam in the coming days after he made a startling revelation yesterday exposing the private media channel OTV had taken Rs 5.50 crore from him.
