Maoist Surrenders before Odisha Police in Malkangiri

Malkangiri, Nov 28: Another member of CPI (Maoist) organisation Muka Beth alias Kora surrendered before Odisha police in Malkangiri ahead of the Martyrs week beginning from Dec 2.

Kora, a Maoist millitia member, surrendered on Thursday before the Superintendent of Police Mitrabhanu Mahapatra at the District Police Office. He is a native of Dariguda village under Kalimela police limits.

He had joined the Kalimela Dalham of the  Maoist outfit in 2008 and was involved in Darvaguda encounter in 2008 and exchange of fire with the security forces at Badigeta forest in 2009.
