Logjam continues in Odisha Assembly for 8 Consecutive Day

Bhubaneswar, Nov 28: The Odisha Assembly witnessed ruckus in the House for the eight consecutive day on Friday following which Speaker Niranjan Pujari adjourned it till 3 pm.

As soon as the House met today, the proceedings were paralysed after the members of both treasury and opposition benches shouted slogans over different issues.

The BJP members stood up and protested by showing banners against the government over the chit fund issue, while the Congress MLAs staged a silent demonstration with black badges during the beginning of question hour session.

The ruling BJD MLAs rushed to the Well of the House and shouted creating huge noise in its counter attack. The Speaker was forced to adjourn the House till 3 pm.
