Appropriation Bill passed, House Adjourned till Tomorrow

Bhubaneswar, Dec 01: The Appropriation Bill was passed amid uproar in the Odisha Assembly and the Speaker adjourned the House for the day till tomorrow as the pandemonium continued.

As soon as the House met at 3 pm after adjournment, the opposition members raised slogans waving banners against the government.

The Appropriation Bill, which was introduced along with three other bills today, was passed amid logjam.

The Appropriation Bill, the Cooperation Amendment Bill, the Indian Stamp Odisha Amendment Bill and Survey and Consolidation Bill were tabled after the House reassembled at 12.15 PM. However, the speaker Niranjan Pujari was forced to adjourn the House till 3 PM as the opposition members created ruckus.
