Agni-IV Test-Fired Successfully off Odisha Coast

Chandipur, Dec 02: India on Tuesday successfully test-fired nuclear capable surface-to-surface Agni-IV  from Wheeler Island off Odisha coast.

The missile was launched with a strike range of 4,000 km from Wheeler Island off in Chandipur. The launch was successful. The entire operation was carried out by the Strategic Forces Command (SFC) personnel of Indian Army.

Earlier, three trials of Agni-IV have been successfully conducted by the scientists of the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO). The three trials were conducted in Nov 2011, September 2012 and January 2014.
