Uproar continues, Odisha Assembly adjourned for 11th Day

Bhubaneswar, Dec 02: Odisha Assembly was adjourned for 11th consecutive day as the uproar continued in the House by the opposition Congress and BJP members on chit fund scam.

The House was adjourned for the day till tomorrow following the noisy scene after the members reassembled at 3 pm. The Speaker faced similar situation in the second half and the proceedings were disrupted.

The opposition members raised slogans and waved banners against the government demanding a debate on the chit fund issue. Speaker Niranjan Pujari adjourned the House after Congress chief whip Tara Prasad Bahinipati attempted to climb the Speaker's podium and he was joined by other Congress members.
