Chit Fund Scam: DIG of CBI SIT arrives in Odisha Capital

Bhubaneswar, Dec 04: In an ongoing probe into the chit fund scam, Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of the CBI's Special Investigation Team (SIT) S Bagchi arrived in Odisha capital this morning.

Sources said that Bagchi would likely to review the chargesheet to be framed against the Artha Tawta (AT) Group by the CBI in the chit fund scam. The chargesheet, which would be filed in the Special CBI court here, would be prepared in consultation with Bagchi.

The chargesheet of AT case is likely to be produced on Monday.

Apart from this, Bagchi is likely to review the status of the investigation into Seashore scam. The central agency has filed its preliminary chargesheet against Green India Group in the chit fund scam on Tuesday.
