Pradhan asks Odisha Govt to finish DBTL Registration by March

Bhubaneswar, Dec 13: Union Petroleum and Chemicals minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Saturday asked the Odisha government to complete the registration of direct benefit transfer of LPG (DBTL) by March 2015.

Addressing the media after a meeting in New Delhi, the Pradhan said that the registration of DBTL in Odisha is only 12 per cent till date.

Earlier, the ministry had asked the state government to meet the target of at least 2 per cent DBTL entry per day. However, the entry was only 12%.

The consumers will not be entitled to get subsidy on LPG if they failed to link their bank account with the concerned gas agencies by March 2015. The money will be transferred to the account directly to get the subsidy on cooking gas.
