Central Panel to visit Odisha to select IIM Location

Bhubaneswar, Dec 15: The central site selection committee members would visit Odisha on Dec 23 to finalise a location for the setting up the proposed IIM in Bhubaneswar. The state government had proposed two sites on the outskirts of the state capital for the premier institute.

The team led by the Additional Secretary in the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development Amarjeet Sinha along with panel members include two senior officials from IIM Kolkata, Secretary of the State Technical Education and Training Department and the Khurda district Collector would visit two sites, one near IIIT at Gothapatna and another near the new IIT campus at Arugul.
