26 More Services added to Odisha Right to Public Services Act

Bhubaneswar, Dec 16: Twenty six more services came under the purview of Odisha Right to Public Services Act after the approval of chief minister Naveen Patnaik on Tuesday.

The ORPSA was implemented in 2012 to reduce corruption and to maintain transparency and public accountability. Earlier, 63 different services were included in 10 departments. With the inclusion of 26 more services, the number reached 89.

Under the Odisha Right to Public Services Act, public can now be ale to get services including obtaining driving license, electricity and water connections, RoR, and other services within the deadline.
