Dish TV President of Projects Rajiv Khattar quits

Mumbai, Dec 17: Dish TV president of projects Rajiv Khattar has resigned from the company after spending more than nine years, industry sources confirmed today. He is currently serving his notice period.

Khattar was holding a responsible job in the key areas at direct-to-home (DTH) company including content, technology, customer premise equipment (CPE) and regulatory environment management. His next move and plans are yet unknown.

Prior to Dish TV, he was associated with Reliance Infocomm as president Netway, working out the strategy and implementation plan for the IPTV project of the group. In his more than one year stint with the company, he was also responsible for planning for the DTH venture of the group, Reliance Big TV.

Earlier, Khattar was the executive vice president of Essel Group-owned multi-system operator (MSO) Siti Cable where he spent almost 10 years.
