Two Maoists arrested in Malkangiri

Malkangiri, Dec 20: Police on Friday arrested two Maoists from Gamphagunda forest in Malkangiri district, police said.

"The duo was arrested during a joint operation by BSF and district police personnel," said Malkangiri SP Mitrabhanu Mohapatra here.

The duo, identified as Budura Padiami and Irma Kobasi of Pitakunda village under Kalimela police station. Both of them were accused in murder and other crimes, police said.
