Chit Fund Scam: CBI Joint Director arrives in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar, Dec 20: CBI Joint Director Suman Bala Sahoo (Kolkata Zone) arrived here today to take stock of the progress of investigations carried out by the central agency into the multi-crore chit fund scam in Odisha.

Sahoo went to the CBI office here and is holding meetings with the officers.

It can be noted that the CBI has filed a preliminary chargesheet against 16 accused including AT Group CMD Pradeep Sethy, Banki MLA Pravat Tripathy, and Mumbai Model Preeti Bhatia in the AT chit fund scam at the Special CBI Court.
