Bus Fare reduced by 2 Paise per km in Odisha

Bhubaneswar, Dec 22: Odisha government on Monday reduced the bus fare by 2 paise per km following the cut of petrol, disel prices in the country.

With price reduction, the bus fare for ordinary buses would be now 60 paise per km, while the express buses will charge 63 paise per km. The fare for delux and AC delux buses would now be 83 paise and Rs 1.02 paise per km respectively.

The decision was announced today after the Technical Advisory Committee of Transport department, presided over by the Transport commissioner held a meeting on Friday.
