BJP set to form Govt in Jharkhand, Hung Assembly Likely in J&K

Ranchi, Srinagar, Dec 23: The BJP is set to form the government in Jharkhand as it is leading in 42 seats. The JMM is likely to sit in opposition as it is ahead in 20 seats, while Congress in 5 and others in 5 seats. The Counting is underway.

As per the latest trends in Jammu and Kashmir for all the 87 seats, there is a strong fight between BJP and PDP. While BJP has started celebration for higher gain in the polls for the first time with 23 leads, the PDP is leading in 23 seats; the National Conference and Congress are leading in 17 and 16 respectively. Others are in 8 seats.

The latest trends suggested that the state Jammu and Kashmir is going to have a hung assembly as both the BJP and PDP are running same to same.
