Two Naxals surrender in Odisha

Rourkela, Dec 23: Two Maoists surrendered before the police in Rourkela on Monday evening, informed Bonei sub division Additional SP RB Panigrahi.

The Maoists are identified as Ram Say Samad (25) and Anu Champia (22). Both are the natives of Bhangaon in Jharkhand.

Police said that the Maoists surrendered as they were fed up and frustrated over the ill-treatment and torture by the red outfit during their days in the organisation from 2011 to 2012 in Saranda sub division of Odisha-Jharkhand border.
