Uproar in Lok Sabha over Conversion issue, House Adjourned Sine Die

New Delhi, Dec 23: The winter session of Lok Sabha ended on the last day on Tuesday amidst uproar over the religious conversions. The House was adjourned sine die.

As soon as the members assembled in the House today, the Lok Sabha was first adjourned till noon following the uproar by the opposition members over the conversion issue and demanded the statement of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

However, the logjam continued even after 12 noon and the House was then adjourned sine die. The lower house will meet next year for the budget session.

The Rajya Sabha also witnessed the similar scene. It was adjourned till noon following uproar by the SP and JDU members over the alleged atrocities on their workers yesterday.

The House again met at 12 noon. But the MPs created ruckus demanding statement of PM Modi on the communal riots. The House was again adjourned till 1.00 pm.
