Puri, Dec 25: Renowned sand artist Padmashree Sudarsan Pattnaik wished the Merry Cristmas in his style by creating two huge Santa Claus and Jesus Christ with a message "Global Peace & Merry Christmas" on the sand at the sea beach in Puri on the eve of Christmas and New Year.
Sudarsan created 20ft high twin sand Santa Claus with Lord Jesus, which is claimed as the biggest Santa Claus in the world. "We will request the Limca Book of Records to recognise our sculpture as the world's biggest twin sand Santa Claus," said Sudarsan. He used about 50 tons of sand and took about 22 hours with the help of 15 students to complete this sculpture. He
He also created the heads of five countries - Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, US President Barack Obama, Russian president Vladimir Putin, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and British Prime Minister David Cameron - on the sand with the message "Merry Christmas, Let Peace Prevail".
