CRPF DG Prakash Mishra to head ITBP from January 1

New Delhi, Dec 30: CRPF Director General Prakash Mishra on Tuesday was given an additional charge of the post of Director General (DG) of Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) with effect from January 1.

"Prakash Mishra, IPS, director general, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), will hold the additional charge of the post of DG, Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) w.e.f. 01.01.2015," the official statement said.

The decision was taken in view of the retirement of superannuation of Subhas Goswami, IPS, DG, ITBP. He will retire on Dec 31.
