Chit Fund Scam: CBI raid at 11 Places in Kolkata, Five in Odisha

Bhubaneswar, Jan 08: The CBI on Thursday conducted fresh raids at 11 places in Kolkata and five in Odisha in connection with the mega chit fund scam. In Odisha, the offices of Asha Agro Equipment Industries (India) Ltd were searched.

The CBI sleuths conducted raids at the offices and residences of Managing Director Tarun Kumar Barui and directors Ranjit Santra, Susanta Mohapatra, Ananta Barik, Parimal Biswas in Bhubaneswar, Baleswar, Remuna, Baliapal and Jaleswar.

The search is underway.
