Operation All Out in Odisha-Andhra Border: Four Maoists surrender

Malkangiri, Jan 10: Four hardcore rebels including three women have surrendered before the Odisha police in Malkangiri this morning. IG, south-western range, Yashwant Jethwa informed this at a press conference at the district headquarters here. 

The Moaists who surrendered before police are Bhime Padiami alias Rita, armed committee member (ACM) with a reward of Rs 4 lakh on her head, Walal  Gangi alias Sakila, armed cadre with a reward of Rs 1 lakh, Singe Padiami alias Mase, an armed cadre with a reward of Rs 1 lakh and Kuma Khila, an armed cadre with a Rs 1 lakh reward, the IG Jethwa said.

Talking about the ongoing "Operation All Out" launched by the Greyhound unit of Andhra Pradesh police and the SOG and DVF forces of the Odisha Police in Malkangiri district bordering Andhra Pradesh, the IG said that at least seven Maoists were gunned down so far.
