Hyatt Regency Officials questioned by ED in Saradha scam

Kolkata, Jan 14: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Wednesday quizzed the officials of Hyatt Regency Hotel in Kolkata in connection with the mega Saradha scam.

According to reports, several meetings between Trinamool Congress (TMC) leaders and Saradha group chairman Sudipta Sen were held in the hotel. The TMC leaders Mukul Roy, Madan Mitra and Kunal Ghosh had allegedly attended the meetings there.

The hotel authorities also confirmed that the rooms were booked in the name of Kunal Ghosh.

Earlier, the CBI, which is investigating the case, had summoned TMC national secretary and former Railway Minister Mukul Roy for interrogation in connection with the scam.
