Over 200 Pak-trained Terrorists waiting to enter India, says Army

Srinagar, Jan 15: There are reports that over 200 Pakistan-trained terrorists are waiting across the border in Pakistan to enter India to carry out massive attacks in the during President Barack Obama's visit to India.

General Officer Commander 16 Corps, Nagrota, Lt General KH Singh, informed that the terrorists trained by the Pakistan are planning to target the schools and public places in the major cities ahead of Obama's visit to India on January 26.

Over 200 militants are waiting for an opportunity to cross the border and launch attacks targeting the civilians, said Lt General KH Singh, adding that the terrorists are taking training at 14-15 camps along the LoC, south of Pir Panjal area in Pakistan.

However, Indian army has been ordered to give strong response to their attempts. He assured that the army is prepared for any situation to foil their plans and encounter.

His statement came today when two terrorists were killed in an encounter in Shopian district of Jammu and Kashmir. The security forces suspected more militants might be hiding and the encounter is underway.
