New App launched to contact Police in Odisha

Bhubaneswar, Jan 16: A new mobile application of the Commissionerate Police has been launched for the people of twin city Bhubaneswar and Cuttack through which they can contact police directly.

The app was launched by Odisha chief minister Naveen Patnaik on the occasion of the 7th foundation day of the Commissionerate Police here on Thursday. The app features the details of all police stations, their landline numbers, the mobile numbers of all the police officers and the services provided by the Commissionerate Police in the twin city. This will provide safety and security mostly to women and senior citizens.

The CM expressed his pleasure by unveiling the app that will help the police to reach out to public. He asked the police to use the new technology that will strengthen their performance.
