Now 100% Drinking Water Supply in Berhampur as MoU signed

Berhampur, Jan 17: The people of Berhampur will not have to face drinking water problems in the town as an MoU between the public health engineering department (PHED) and Berhampur Municipal Corporation (BMC) has been signed ahead of the summer.

The public health engineering department (PHED) has decided to supply piped water to all the residents of Berhampur under this MoU, said Dev Sundar Mohapatra, executive engineer, PHED, Berhampur.

With the signing of the agreement now the corporators can discuss with the PHED authorities in case of people do not avail the drinking water at their homes, said the BMC authorities.
