Sunanda Death Case: Congress MP Shashi Tharoor to be questioned

New Delhi, Jan 19: Congress MP Shashi Tharoor will be questioned in connection with the mysterious death of his wife Sunanda Pushkar, Delhi police commissioner BS Bassi confirmed today.

Tharoor, former Union Minister, who was evading the media questions on this topic, will be finally questioned by the Special Investigation Team of Delhi police in the case.

So many things may come to light if he will be grilled by the police.

It can be noted that Tharoor was first targeted by BJP MP Subramanian Swamy, who told openly that Tharoor knew the killer of Sunanda.

Sunanda, 51, was found dead in her room of a five-star hotel in the national capital on Jan 17 last year. According to, final medical report, she was died of poisoning. The poison might have administered either through oral route or injection and 15 injuries were found on her body.
