Bhubaneswar, Jan 20: Odisha chief minister Naveen Patnaik has realised the impact of online applications and power of youth in the politics. Targeting the young mass in the state, he launched an Android app while inaugurating the state level students' convention of Biju Chhatra Janata Dal (BCJD) in Bhubaneswar.

The BJD's official Mobile App can be downloaded from the Google Play Store.

The event was organised at Rashtra Bhasha Prachar Sabha Ground here where CM Naveen Patnaik addressed thousands of students and asked them to reach out to the common people in state highlighting the positive works done during the BJD rule in the state.

More than 20,000 student representatives from across the state attended the rally. For the first time, the event was also broadcast on the party's website www.bjdodisha.org, reminding us the way Prime Minister Narendra Modi used the internet and social media sites to reach out the educated people and professionals.
