Delhi Assembly Polls: Kiran Bedi, Kejriwal file Nomination Papers

New Delhi, Jan 21: The battle for Delhi began with the nomination papers filed by two CM faces Kiran Bedi (BJP) and Arvind Kejriwal (AAP) at their respective assembly constituencies today.

While Kiran Bedi from filed the nomination papers from Krishna Nagar, the stronghold of BJP's Harsh Vardhan, her political rival Kejriwal filed the form at New Delhi assembly constituency today.

Both the leaders are associated with public very closely. Uncertainty still prevails who will rule Delhi whether Bedi or Kejriwal.

According to BJP, the political war will be Iron Lady vs I-Run Man.

Kejriwal again challenged Bedi for an open debate ahead of the polls to drag the attention of media. He even targeted her for choosing BJP as the best platform to do the service for Delhities.

Yesterday, he had asked Bedi for a public meeting after congratulating her for becoming the chief ministerial candidate from the BJP in the elections. However, his challenge was turned down by Bedi, who said that she accepts the challenge and ready for the debate on the floor of the House, as she believes in delivery and Kejriwal believes in debate.

Kejriwal was scheduled to file the nomination yesterday. But his 7-km road show delayed the nomination process and he postponed it to today.
