Security Tightened as Four Terror Groups plan to Target India before Jan 28

New Delhi, Jan 22: The security has been tightened in the country after intelligence warned of possible terror strikes in four states including Odisha, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh before January 28.

According to intelligence inputs, four terror groups JuD, LeT, Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) and Hizbul Mujahideen are planning terror strikes in the four states targeting temples, religious places, schools and public places.

The Intelligence Bureau warned that the terrorists have already entered the country from PoK for the mission to complete.

Following the inputs, all the airports, border areas and coasts have been put on high alert ahead of US president Barack Obama's visit to India. He will be here on two-day trip from Jan 25-27 to attend the Republic Day on Jan 26.
