ED to open Zonal Office in Odisha

Bhubaneswar, Jan 24: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) will open a zonal office in Odisha to deal with the money laundering cases.

During the 2-day annual conference of the central agency, Director Dr Rajan S Katoch said that a Joint Director for its expanded branch will be appointed soon as an advertisement for the recruitment for the post has been given to the newspapers.

Talking to media after attending the annual conference in Odisha capital yesterday Dr Katoch said that the expansion is a challenge for the department due to shortage of officials to deal with a large number of cases in the country.

However, the vacant posts are likely to be fulfilled in 2-3 years, he expected.
