Obama attends At Home Event at Rashtrapati Bhavan

New Delhi, Jan 26: US President Barack Obama, who witnessed India's cultural heritage, military strength at the 66th Republic Day parade this morning at Rajpath, New Delhi, attended "At Home" event organised by the President Pranab Mukherjee at Rashtrapati Bhavan.

President Obama was accompanied by his wife Michelle Obama. Prime Minister Narendra Modi was also present at the event. He met former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and other leaders at the reception.

He also met top Business leaders, social activists and journalists at the occasion.

President Obama will address the CEOs at a meeting this evening before leaving for Saudi Arabia tomorrow.

Obama and US first lady Michelle Obama, who graced the Republic Day celebration as the chief guest for the first time, have given a big thumbs-up to the performance by the BSF during the ceremonial event at Rajpath.

The couple were impressed to be part of the occasion when India showcased its military power and the diverse culture. This is for the first time the US President attended the Republic Day function in India and for this, he felt honored.
