Kejriwal seeks Apology from BJP over Election Campaign Ad

New Delhi, Jan 30: The BJP once again invited criticism from AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal over an election campaign advertisement that showed a portrait of veteran anti-graft crusader Anna Hazare was given a garland.

Kejriwal took on the saffron party seeking apology from the leaders over the issue.

"Nathuram Godse killed Gandhiji on this day in 1948. BJP has killed Anna in its ad today. Shudn't BJP apologise?" Kejriwal tweeted.

The controversial ad was intended to satirise Kejriwal for taking support of Congress to form the government in 2013. The ad showed that he compromised his principles and ethics of Anna Hazare to whom he had considered as mentor, for power, by offering a garland on the portrait of the veteran.
