PM Modi lauds Scientists for Successful Launch of Agni-V

New Delhi, Jan 31: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday lauded the scientists for the successful launch of surface-surface nuclear capable ballistic missile Agni-V. The missile was test-fired from the Wheeler Island off Odisha coast in Chandipur.

He took to twitter for praising the efforts of the scientists by posting, "Successful test-firing of Agni V from a canister makes the missile a prized asset for our forces. I salute our scientists for their efforts".

Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley also congratulated the scientists and engineers for the test-fire of the missile.

"Congrats! to the team of scientists and engineers for successfully test firing of Agni-V, the nuclear capable missile and making India proud," Jaitley tweeted.
