New Delhi, Feb 02: The AAP, which is looking more confident to sweep the Delhi elections, landed in a big trouble over the serious allegations of receiving donations from fake firms to evade tax.
The party, which has been charging others claiming them as corrupt, is now facing severe blow from its former members, who alleged corruption in the party.
Some former members of AAP volunteer Action Manch, alleged the AAP of receiving donations from two forged companies, which have no turnovers or profits of a single rupee.
The donations were made to AAP in 2014. Although, the party claims to have all the details of the transactions and funds on its website, the volunteers alleged about four transaction IDs through which funds were transferred.
Further, the sources of funds are believed to have operated nowhere.
Following the revelations, the BJP took on the AAP demanding the Election Commission should probe into the serious matter of fake funding.
