Bhubaneswar, Feb 04: Prime Minister Narendra Modi wave continued to fascinate the leaders across all party lines in India with his strong image before the international media after landslide victory in the Lok Sabha polls last year. Even his popularity has enchanted the BJD MP Baijayant Panda, who never stops himself praising Modi without caring for the consequences in his own party.
With the latest allegations leveled by Odisha excise minister Dr Damodar Rout clearly indicated that Panda may switch to BJP very soon leaving the BJD. However, nothing is clear yet.
Dr Rout alleged the Kendrapara MP Panda of damaging the image of chief minister Naveen Patnaik, who is also the BJD supreme, on his own media channel and paving a way to join the hands with the BJP.
Rout made a startling revelation on Tuesday accusing Panda that indicated that all is not well in the party.
Earlier, Panda had received flak after he had shared his opinion through a column in a leading English Daily The Times of India batting in favour of the religion reconversion.
With the recent development, Panda is likely to lose his position in the party if the party chief will take the serious note of the matter.
