Bus Fares reduced by 1 Paisa per km in Odisha

Bhubaneswar, Feb 04: A day after the oil firms reduced the petrol and diesel prices, the Odisha government on Wednesday slashed the bus fares by 1 paisa per km in the state.

With the latest price cut, the ordinary bus fare has been reduced to 59 paisa per km from 60 paisa; the fare for the express buses is now 62 paisa per km from 63 paisa, the deluxe buses from 83 paisa to 82 paisa. The AC bus fare was reduced from Rs 1.02 to Rs 1.01 per km.

This was announced by the state Transport minister Ramesh Chandra Majhi, who also hinted at another fare cut soon.
