Odisha Assembly, Naveen Nivas, BJP Office under Threat

Bhubaneswar, Feb 06: An anonymous letter threatened to blow up Odisha Assembly, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik's residence Naveen Nivas and state BJP office in Odisha capital. 

The letter was received by Commissionerate police headquarter threatening to blow up Assembly building, Naveen Nivas and BJP office with a time bomb.

The threat came a day before the budget session of the Odisha Assembly begins today.

Acting on the threat letter, DGP Sanjiv Marik said that the security has been beefed up around these target area. The identity of the person, who had posted the letter, is still unknown.

Twin City commissioner of police Dr RP Sharma has ordered the security personnel to be alert to foil such malicious intention of anyone who is targeting such establishments in the state capital.
