Patna, Feb 06: Bihar Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi may step down following the instructions of his party JDU leadership for his alleged pro-Modi remarks since he assumed the post. He has called for a legislature party meeting on Feb 20.
Meanwhile, the JDU chief Sharad Yadav has called a party meeting on Feb 7 to take a decision on Manjhi.
However, Manjhi will skip the meeting on Feb 7 daring to describe the meeting as unauthorised. He said that the CM can only call the party meeting.
The fate of political career of Manjhi will be determined on Saturday as his performance as the CM and the responsible JDU leader is neither satisfactory to the party chief nor the former CM Nitish Kumar.
