CM Naveen Patnaik leaves for Delhi to attend NITI Aayog Meeting

Bhubaneswar, Feb 07: Odisha chief minister Naveen Patnaik on Saturday morning left for Delhi to attend the first meeting of National Institution for Transforming India (NITI) Aayog on Sunday.

The NITI Aayog, which is newly constituted replacing the Planning Commission of India after NDA government comes to power last year, met first time yesterday. The meeting was chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who sought views from the experts in all the sectors to give ideas to boost the economy of the country/

On Sunday, the meeting will be attended by the CMs of all the states and PM Modi will discuss with them about the implementation of various central projects and programmes. The CMs will also discuss the budget related issues.

This goal of the NITI Aayog is to strengthen the Centre-state relationship. At the meeting, the CMs will get opportunities to discuss all the issues related to their states with the PM.
