ITR Contractual Cameraman sent Back to Jail as Remand ends

Balasore, Feb 07: Ishwar Behera, contractual cameraman working with the Interim Test Range (ITR) at Chandipur, arrested on charges of spying for Pakistani Intelligence agency ISI, was sent back to jail after his remand period ended on Friday.

He was produced before the court yesterday and he was sent to jail. The Crime Branch which is also probing the case did not appeal to take him on remand.

During the interrogation, Behera revealed about financial transaction between him and his aide Chittaranjan, who is also an ITR staff.

Behera was arrested on Jan 23 for allegedly providing vital information about the Missile centre to ISI.
